About the Work
Systemic Constellations offer a healing methodology that allows us to gain insight into ourselves and our current struggles through opening our minds and hearts to a bigger picture. By including our families, systems, and our ancestors using the constellation method, we have an opportunity to go deeper into who we are and to find new, more supportive movements in relation to our families and bigger systems. This approach can help to shift patterns and issues that we have been stuck with for a long time.
About Sheila McCarthy-Dodd
Sheila is a director and senior faculty member for the UK Centre for Systemic Constellations. She has trained and worked extensively in Systemic and Family Constellations since 1996 and leads regular systemic constellation workshops. She has a well-established therapy and supervision practice in Gloucestershire for individuals, couples and supervision. She works extensively as a trainer including facilitating Relational Supervision training with Severn Talking Therapy.
Sheila is not currently taking on new clients.
Participation
There are different ways to participate in the workshops. As a witness, as a representative, and as an issue holder.
Through representing in and witnessing other people’s constellations we participate in our own personal work, as well as developing systemic insight and understanding.
Those who wish to explore an issue in their lives are invited to offer their issue to the constellator on the day. Their willingness to bring their own personal family issues enables the whole group to engage with their personal work and learning.
Please note: It is not guaranteed you will have an “Issue Holder” place on the day. If there are more requesting than spaces available, names will be pulled out from a hat, as this respects the nature and spirit of the field. Sheila does not offer “Paid issue holder” spaces.

Place and Time
All in-person and online events run from 9:30-17:00
Stroud events take place in St Lukes Therapy Centre, a spacious, airy venue in central Stroud five minutes’ walk from the train station.
The London workshops are held either in Violet Hill Studio’s or St Andrews Church, Waterloo.
Online workshops are held on Zoom.
